As long as a piece of string
When I went to the Amazon France website after the deal had finished anD after my address went in, it said it did not deliver to Australia. I don't think it was out of stock, just not delivering to Australia. The same thing happened some time ago on some other deal.
Payed 370AUD less than a year ago, and actually not too unhappy with that price. Great drive. Stop me buying a 2nd for no reason!
Here's a +1 for appropriate username!
Really had heart set on the M.2 950 Pro but this makes me question the extra $200 :)
u cant compare an M.2 with this…. M.2 wins hands-down! :)
Man I just installed my Samsung 512gb m. 2 drive and I never knew windows could install so fast. I literally thought something was broken
Just how quick was the installation?.
the ridiculous speed of 950 is mainly for sequential read and write. In real world case we should look at 4K random read and write without queue. If you compare the mix 4K speed of 950 and 850 and the difference of price, you might come up with a better conclusion
I guess it all depends just what you want to use it for
As an OS drive, storage for games, storage for video editing, 3D rendering
So many possibilities that could make it the better choice for an individual
nothing better than loading an online game in 10 secs and waiting for other peasants to catch up
I'm going to be using it for kvm so the more IOPS the better.
Keep them coming, good that i have a strong self discipline not to buy on a whim :)
never mind
dealz on M.2 drives please !
Pulled the trigger on this. Thanks OP.
I have 5 hard drives, 3 of them SSDs, one is the 1TB deal from Amazon France last time…and yet I still want this haha
I have 1.5TB SSD storage…I remember the days of 512MB USB sticks for like $30…
it was horrible back then
Or $900 for a 4GB Memory Stick…
I remember a 48Mb CF card for $250 or so, ha ha.
yeah but back then 1.44MB floppy disks where still in fashion!
it just took a dollar out of my account. Is this some sort of pre security or deposit kind of thing before it takes the other 234 out?
Its a scam, next transaction will clean out all your accounts!
I'll just provide them with my bank account details and…
The 250GB model is ~$146 delivered as well.
THe kogan 20% off deal from ebay was 263.91 AUD, so this beats it by about $20 for the 512 gig.
I ordered this earlier today and I just received an email notifying that my debit card was declined. I've resubmitted the order with a different card but I'm doubtful it will go through.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Wake me up when it falls below $200…
I feel dumb for asking, but… does the website speak English, or do I have to fumble through in French?
I use google chrome's auto-translate which is very useful
+1 vote for google translator, I tried using their online chat on amazon Germany and was refused because they don't speak english. So I had to resort to google translator in an online chat session. that was my first experience using German with a real person, haha, feels very special
PayPal isn't offered on any Amazon site as it's a competitor to Amazon's own payment service.
Just got a 256GB Pro for $146~. Cheers.
Deal has already expired. Prices have gone back up 512GB €185.58 (~AU $270.82) / 1TB €371.99 (~AU $543.07)
Nope, not expired. The VAT is removed in checkout to bring the final price down.
Some prices have risen slightly overnight, the 1TB is now €322.48 delivered.
Tried to purchase this but it now says Sorry, we can not deliver this product in Australia
Yeah 512GB has sold out and it automatically displays the next cheapest vendor with stock, who doesn't ship to Australia. Amazon may restock so keep an eye on it over the next few days.
The 1TB is still available but has risen a few dollars.
"now the lowest ever posted on ozbargain by far"
I wonder how long that will last :P
Thanks OP.
