I know right, I'll wait for the Kinchrome and Sidchrome rakes thanks

      • your comment goes well with your avatar

    • I noticed at my local pool shop Stanley started making pool cleaning equipment as well

  • Showing as $19.98 for me.

    • yeah shows on homepage man :)

  • When I click on $49 shelf special it takes me to product page but it says $99?

    • Just checked again now and it says $48, guessing they are trying to compete with the ALDI special.

      • Yeah what happens dude is each Friday or Thursday night The Bunnings website homepage will show 1,2 or 3 deals which start the next day, usually the homepage price isn't shown on the product page straight away :)

        • Thanks, bought one from Rydalmere Store, they had quite a few there and the regular price tag.
It scanned at the special price at counter.
          All put together now :)

  • Must be selected bunnings

The rake has a screw in handle, very similar/same to the paint roller extension poles.

Now that I think about it I could get a few of the extension poles, screw them together then add the rake to the end and cover the whole yard without moving from the chair on the patio.

    • Only way that could work would be if your patio was in the middle of your backyard (I.e. extension would hit your house)

      • Just run the extension through a window or door into the house.

Or, unscrew pieces as you rake in and screw back on as you go out.

        • Good thinking!

    • I got the rake today. Excellent rake compared to the old things we have here at home. I did find that the screw in handle would come loose though (I had LOADS of leaves to rake today) - I wonder if it is because I am left handed? :)

  • Bunnings Springvale refused to honor the $49 price on the shelving unit - they had ~20 in stock, exactly the same brand, size, details.
Showed them the website, front page advert, all the details - they insisted that the ones they had in stock are "a different colour" and hence not what is advertised.
I suggested (as politely as I could) that it's a galvanized shelving unit, with exactly the same details, how can it be a different colour.

you should have checked the item or model number on the website to see if it was the same, they can't ignore same model or item numbers

      • After a few days they found some in "top stock", they appear to be very old stock with old boxes (totally different colour to those on sale at other stores) but the specs are the same and they seem to work fine.

        • Thats what I found, the packaging was not what I was looking for.
I was looking everywhere in the aisle and could not find them. Wasnt until I saw the assembled items above the racks and the model number I had to look for and then found the 26 they had in stock.
All I could originally find was a different color due to being available in a black powder coating as opposed to a galvanized finish.
They have different model numbers as I found out later.
          They also have different sizes.

The staff could not find the item on the website, it was only shown on the front page banner but did give them an item number to check stock levels.
