        I think customer-initiated cash backs are hot flaming garbage. They should be done by the retailer, if at all. Though this one is pretty basic, so I'm sure it's fine. But delays in processing, the hilariously onerous set of instructions to apply… They're a crappy system.

        Just give me the discount and let the retailer sort it out with the product supplier.
