Terms and Conditions
1. The promoter is the Northern Territory Electoral Commission (NTEC); ABN 84 085 734 992; Level 3, TCG Centre, 80 Mitchell Street, Darwin NT 0800.
2. Employees of the NTEC, the Australian Electoral Commission or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition, shall not be permitted to enter the competition.
3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition. Entry will be automatic for any person 16 or older enrolling or updating their enrolment on the Northern Territory Electoral Roll during the period 11 April to 31 July 2016.
4. The NTEC reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of and applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be updated on the NTEC Facebook page as soon as possible.
5. No cash alternative to the prize will be offered. The prize is not transferable. The prize is subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
6. The winner will be chosen by random draw by the NTEC from online enrolments in the NT during the period 11 April to 31 July.
7. The winner will be notified by email and/or letter within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and draw a replacement winner.
8. The NTEC will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected.
9. The NTEC’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
10. The winner will make themselves available for media coverage of their win and agree to sign a Talent Release Authority so any pictures may be used by the promoter in the context of the competition and voter enrolment.
11. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
