Looked like an awesome build, that case though, you're going to have to clear some room!!! Congrats on the awesome win!!!

@BillyStm: Yeah case is massive, when putting together the build i figured if i won the computer would last me 10 years so i didnt want water cooling due to the risk of eventual leaks so my logic was case with huge volume for plenty of air for air cooling. I ran out of budget for the build though or i wouldve included more fans, will probably order some more once it arrives.

@dowhatuwant2: Smart thinking, and something you can easily purchase on side to install yourself. Definitely a beast of a machine, hopefully it doesn't take too long to make its way to you.

Hey man you submit a lot of these comps so i figure you're a good person to ask. Will i have to pay GST or import duties on my prize when it comes to Australia?

        • Good question and I'm not 100%. I think if it's over $1,000 (the value they declare on the customs declaration) you have to pay GST and duty. Not sure if you have to pay if it's marked as a gift. Looking at an online calculator, if the PC is valued at AU $2,000 you'd need to pay $100 duty and $210 GST. I've never won a prize worth that much from overseas.

          • @shaneb: I just saw the value of the comp and you might be up for a pretty big bill, unless maybe the comp operator is paying the import charges. You might want to check the terms and conditions.
