  • is this a good player?

    • Dont know, and probably wont. After past experiences with various chinese built media players- the MP4 kind, I found the user interface so frustrating, trying to skip tracks etc then going back to beginning, just not worth the hassle. Think Laser uses the same OS so would stick to known items like Zune or Ipod, where user experience is a a lot more useful

The reason these are in stock sell out is real, they aren't that popular

The price is right but who is going to buy a digital device with a paltry 1.3 megapixel camera?

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to take a call on my iphone.

Your Iphone also costs approx 20X more than this cheapo device.

I think this thing would not be all that good either, but a fair device to compare would not be an iphone. And the Iphone camera isnt much better….

      • Awesome. A touch of sarcasm is never, sorry, is always lost on the interwebs…

Although my iphone has a 2 megapixel camera, I thought some may point out that the 3G has the same, 1.3 resolution.

Regardless, on the other hand, my iphone is free with three. The relative cost (for me) against a nokia for example is negligible.

    • can you put an sd card in your iphone ?

also it doesnt make you feel more important than other technology users like Apple does win win for me :)

      • I thought I could but all I did was snap the sd card and bend the charging plate.

Now every time my phone dies (approx. every three hours), I need to rub the phone against my hair (or a fluffy jumper) just to build up a static charge.

You're right though, I do think that I'm the ducks nuts walking around with a half charged phone and equally half fuzzy hair style.

      • Awesome !
