Warranty comes under manufacturer… so i dont think so it will have any problem.
More like finding one. Wouldn't you use manufactures warranty anyway? Just because a store closes it does void your warranty, unless is was a stores own product.
Warranty is fine, just don't go extended warranty ;)
Where?
I got one from BURWOOD.
State?
NSW.
Siddh's location is Sydney.
Just wondering did you see any JBL flips at burwood?
Freakishly amazing sound?
Heart pounding bass?
Lel.
Laugh extremely loud?
Good price as long as you're happy with the purple ones AND find stock! Both Sydney city stores only had 1 purple each in stock when I asked them late last week.
The guy who was working in burwood was saying that there are 8 left in PENRITH NSW.
Penrith is holding the jackpot in stock! I'm keen for another as already have a blue one but Penrith is a bit too far a drive for it.
Curb your enthusiasm regarding the sound - they're pretty muddy and my old Logitech Pure-Fi 2 sounds significantly cleaner (not to mention any proper stereo).
However, outdoors the Megaboom is the clear winner as the sound travels much further with more presence (which is what it's designed for obviously). Plus the size/weight/sound/battery combination is unbeatable - they really are a fantastic tavel speaker.
If you're just looking for indoor use, I'd probably look elsewhere though (an old Pure Fi 2 can be had for ~$50 these days, no bluetooth though).
I have a Pure-Fi 2 that I picked up from Officeworks a few years ago on clearance for $20 and have been really happy with the sound quality, although it does not get very loud playing via a 3.5mm aux cable (from HTC M7). I have heard people say it plays much louder when connected to iPhone, but never tried as I don't do Apple.
goodluck with your warranty….
