Australian Pork Loin/Back Ribs - $9.50/Kg at Costco Moorabbin VIC (Membership Required)

140

Was in the vicinity of Moorabbin area earlier. Decided to pass by Costco to check if they have the Weber 57cm One Touch Silver deal. Unfortunately, none.

Walked around and found a promo for Pork Loin / Back Ribs at 50% off. Usual price is $18.99/kg. After discount is $9.495/kg. Grabbed one to try an oven baked Pork Rib recipe.

If I remember correctly, the promo runs until 04 April.

Not sure if this promo is available in other branches (or nationwide).

    oink oink!

  • The question is what bbq sauce did you use for them there ribs?

    • Sweet baby ray

  • Pity they didn't have the Weber, ribs are so much tastier smoked.

These are meaty ribs but the loin meat can dry out easily. Try brining (wet or dry) them for a day or two in you've got time

Scary when a back rub is actually cheaper than a kg of normal priced ribs.

I can't believe what they charge for these things nowadays, it's just ridiculous…like bloody lamb shanks…both cuts of meat the butcher used to pretty much give away when I was young!!! :/
