  The only real downside of Aliexpress is the lack of Paypal and for something like this make sure you're using a credit card with buyer protection.

  While I've never been burned with a couple of dozen purchases on Aliexpress, it helps to have that extra bit of cover by using a decent CC. And Aliexpress' buyer protection is nowhere near as good as Paypal.

    whats wrong with aliexpress protection? they side with the buyers

    ive made a few $5000+ purchases no issues and have made separate claims too, the sellers themselves are willing to give up the refund for positive feedback

    as long as u dont buy from low feedback new stores u shud be ok

  Of course with the way SSD's are dropping in price, the local price will probably drop somewhat by the time you would receive this.
