      Unfortunately, flights to Kuala Lumpur from Sydney are a bit more expensive than from Melbourne. $436 for the same dates.

      So for Sydney, you would be looking at $1072. For that price, I thought it wasn't worth the hassle of 2 bookings.

      Like every other airline? Call me crazy, but I'm not paying a ton more for a big brand flight.

      I been on hundreds of flights since the late 80's, and i can't think of any time i was really surprised, for better or worse.

      There are SO many variables in play. And no guarantees.

      If all prices are quite similar, maybe I'll start splitting hairs… But flights are like bus trips, for me.

      Sit, watch, eat, read, sleep, arrive.

        Surprises are not what you are looking for when flying.

        I agree, tune out, or sleep, I don't want a memorable flight… I don't consider it part of my holiday.

        Just get me there.
