The charge lead I mentioned is this one for $2.66:

BTW - Banggood's prices on chargers is not very good. When I said "cheapy Imax B6 for $20" I mean an Imax B6 clone, not a SkyRC (brand) Imax B6
On Ebay they are $22 (I just bought this exact one)…

Whilst Bangood is $29

I ordered one, but it seems that this charger has a bad rep online (especially the 'fakes'). Any reason why you recommend them?
I am not recommending anything at all. The point was that the standard USB Charger that is supplied with the Quadcopter is crap. It hasn't got any proper charge control chip inside, will make the batteries die quite quickly.
So I said that even a fake/clone Imax B6 charger will be better on the tiny 150mAh LiPo batteries than the horrid USB charger supplied with the quad. So I simply linked to an example of what I was talking about.
The "original" B6 charger is made by SkyRC, and the model name was "Imax". The ones you see without SkyRC logo and the hologram / scratch code on the bottom are all fakes, however they are not all that bad. BTW the SkyRC is also technically a fake, as it is a clone of some earlier brand.
Probably the best of the "reasonably cheap" chargers is the "SkyRC B6 Mini" (from many places) or the "Accucell 6+ 80W" (from Hobbyking), which are updated designs and have PC connectivity, logging, etc. Note there are also fakes about for B6 Mini, you can tell those by having the "PC Link" writing but not having the actual port in the side panel.
But you pay at least AUD $50-60 for these decent ones, which is probably an overkill just to charge a few spares on a cheap Quad like in this deal.
Agree, it's twitchy and difficult for a beginner like me to control inside. In comparison, the slightly larger (class), Mould King 33041a for example, is so much more stable, indoors and outside.
These quads are powered by an ARM Cortex M0, so you can actually flash them with firmware which allows you to control using rate controls (i.e. acrobatics mode). Really nice quad, especially with a proper controller.
That's interesting - do you have more information?
Here is Step by Step Guide:

That is both crazy and scary at the same time.
Thanks!
I have a pair of them, they are fun but a little "twitchy". Good fun if you have used Quadcopters before and want something responsive and fast.
Note: the batteries are quite small, only 150mAh and flight last about 5 mins max. So buy some spare batteries, they are cheap if you look carefully. Note the polarity - Walkera has reverse polarity to some other brand which uses the same connector (which is not a standard Losi).
Also, the USB charger that comes with these things is usually pretty awful and hammers the batteries hard, with no proper voltage/current termination scheme. The 4-port, 5-port and 6-port 5V chargers that most online places sell seem OK at first glance, however they output between 400mA and 600mA per cell, which is giving the little 150mAh battery a charge at 4C. That is certainly not good for it's health (I've already puffed and killed a few before I realised how high the charge current was). That's fixable with a soldering iron and a change of control resistors, but it's certainly not easy.
You probably should invest in a decent charger (even a cheapy Imax B6 for $20) and a set of charge leads. The best way is a Walkera to Balance Port charger loom, so you can charge them in series but get the charge current correct and not overcharge them.
