Buy this then get Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel cheaper. You only need the base game for Borderlands 2 for this but I'm sure you'd agree paying a little extra for all these extra DLC is worth it. Unfortunately, the first game (Borderlands and its DLC) isn't also discounted at MGS.

  • Also decent prices on Cities Skylines and Pillars of Eternity

    Not the cheapest they have been, but close.

  • OP, what do you specifically mean by

    "You only need the base game for this but I'm sure you'd agree paying a little extra for all these extra DLC is worth it."

    Borderlands = Base game?

    As well as

    "Unfortunately, the first game isn't also discounted at MGS."

    Borderlands = first game?

    • Clarified it in the description. Hope it makes sense now.

      My advice to you, since I'm assuming you haven't played the second one, is to just ignore the other deal. I haven't played BL: TPS but many people I've spoken to have said that the game is inferior to BL2. If you're just getting into the series, just buy this one and try it out.

  • The BL: TPS deal works by owning as many of the items in the bundle as possible. Thus, in order to get the best discount for it, you should own Borderlands GOTY (the base game and its DLC) and Borderlands 2 (the base game). I guess what I'm trying to say is that if you don't own Borderlands 2, you're better off buying this then the Triple Pack rather than just buying the Triple Pack.

    EDIT: Oops, this was supposed to be a reply to the post above.

    • Ah I see, fair enough. I've got 5 out of 7, from what the Triple pack informs me (which is just BL and all its DLCs)

      Yeah, this BL2 deal is much better than what Steam's offerring at $19.99 USD, considering you get more DLCs for a total of $11.99 USD

      Will do as suggested and grab this offer.

  • Also, for what it's worth, don't be put off too much by people bagging the Pre Sequel; I avoided it because of this, but when I finally picked up a discount copy I couldn't stop playing till I'd finished it. If you like Borderlands 1 or 2, you'll more than likely enjoy the PS, especially if it has been a while since you finished Borderlands 2.
