So I've been lurking around for a while trying to find an Apple Watch, specifically 42mm Black.
I was tempted to purchase the last 20% Kogan eBay deal but waited, today I went on and boom $369.59.

Cheapest (even for a grey market) 42mm space grey apple watch I have ever seen, glad I waited and didn't resort to some Gumtree deal :(
Apple did announce new nylon bands which can be chosen instead of the sport bands (for the same retail price), but at this price I could buy them all individually :P

38m black/white is also available @ $329.60 (without cashback) if anyone is interested!

    How was everyones watch packed for shipping? Not too happy with mine

    No exterior box besides the original apple watch box in a thin flimsy postage bag, no bubble wrap.

      My actual watch box was in a small bubble wrap sleeve and then in the plastic postage bag, It didn't offer a great deal of protection though as the box was a little banged up. Obviously the watch was fine and well protected inside though.

        Mine was also shipped in a satchel, and the Apple Watch box inside was wrapped in two layers of bubble wrap. I was impressed overall with the whole transaction.

          I must admit now as I sit here wearing my watch (which I'm very very happy with) I'm impressed with the transaction overall. I was a little disheartened there in the middle with lack of communication but by the time I got news of it being shipped which wasn't until Thursday morning and it arrived Friday morning I was stoked! It still arrived within the initial quoted timeframe so it's a thumbs up from me! Great price! Now all I need to do is convince the wife that it really is worth it..

      I was in the same round of emails for shipment by the 18th,

      Ordered 23rd,

      Received "We are writing to let you know that your order is nearly ready and should be on its way by the 18th April" on the 12th

      Received tracking number on thursday 14th, ETA COB on 18th, Delivered This morning 18th.

      Someone commented here earlier that the received a separate AU charger with dual ports, mine came only with the apple watch box, without any separate charger.

      Has anyone else not received the charger?

        I received mine on Fri 15/4 after it left HK on 13/4 via DHL (ordered on 23rd too). No additional AU charger either in my pack, so you're not the only one.

          quick update, after my chat to kogan, they initially sent me one of those plastic power adaptors 2 weeks ago, and last week they sent me the Sansai dual USB charger. So it is worth asking for, if you didn't receive any.

          On another note, i tried apple pay (ANZ) on the weekend and it's awesome.

        I received the Kogan AU plug but no dual port USB charger. As I have plenty of USB chargers lying around, I didn't bother contacting Kogan for that.

        FYI - THIS is the charger I received x 2. I was an early order-er. I'd say it is worth saying something!! Also, mine were in a cardboard box, wrapped in bubble wrap, in a bag…. I ordered 2…

          Yeah i had a chat with them yesterday and said they're going to send the plastic adaptor,
          when i refered to the dual port charger, they confirmed the sansai branded charger but wouldn't want to give it away.
          After a good 5-10mins chat, they agreed to escalate to a senior team member and i'm still waiting for their response now.

      Did any one get shipping notification? I spoke to Online Chat at 4:30 and they told me that shipping information will be sent out before end of business day. They just didn't answer any question, just repeating that the information will be sent out before 5pm AEST.

      This is just disappointing

    just spoke to kogan. they are saying the item has been passed over to courier and waiting for tracking number.

    i dont really believe kogan as they have been lying all along. hope it really gets shipped today.

      They weren't meant to arrive today, they were meant to begin shipping. Kogan hasn't kept their word and haven't emailed anyones tracking information yet.

        its DHL website and tracking looks like normal DHL tracking.

          They were only one day out of their estimated delivery time if it does come tomorrow. However the confusion and false promises are not on.

    Does anyone know what DHL do with the package if you're not home? Does it go to the local post office or do you have to arrange another delivery time?

      I have the same question. Mine has just cleared Melbourne customs but I am at work tomorrow, and there will be no one to collect the watch at home

      Not sure how DHL handles that where you live, but in Perth at least, the closest DHL warehouse is at the international airport so DHL just hands the packages to AusPost for delivery. If that's the case then you'll just have to pick it up from your AusPost PO.

      DHL leave me a slip at the door. I'm in NSW - You have to call a number, wait on hold for about 15(+) minutes… then schedule a new date. This has always happened for me… and they always show up on the new date that I choose. I think that if it fails 2 times, then they go to Post Office.. maybe there is a time limit for call back too… not sure… I just always reschedule!

      <complain> The annoying thing is that they don't actually have the name on the slip… so sometimes it's for the guy in my Granny Flat… so I waste all that time on the phone!!!!!!!! </complain>

        i ordered 26 March. i spoke with them through live chat today and that weren't much help. they just said they'd escalate it and send me an e-mail with an open case for confirmation.. that hasnt happened though :/

        "We can confirm that this matter has now been escalated to our experienced freight team and they will investigate further into the location of your order for you.

          mine was ordered on 24th and was shipped 18th night.

          so your one might take couple of days more to be shipped.

          but keep the pressure on. call kogan tomorrow and speak to a senior support person.

    5:30PM and it's still not delivered, despite tracking saying "With delivery courier" and the est. delivery date being today.

    I'm thinking they may have handed it to Auspost to be delivered tomorrow :/

    Just received mine but it won't seem to work. It shows the green lightning bolt with the charger when it's charging, but turns red whenever it isn't charging. I've been charging it for two hours now.

    Haven't been able to set it up. I hold the button on the side but all it does is wakes the screen up.

      Have you had any joy yet? mine took around half an hour before I was able to do anything with it. I left it for another hour or so after that before setting it up though.

        Yeah I left it charging for 3 hours and it finally powered with 16% battery. The battery seems to work fine now and charges quickly.

    After checking this thread religiously for a month, I have had my watch for 24 hours and can barely remember a time without it. Love the watch, 18 hours after getting up, i still have 30% battery. Pleased with that.

    Got delivered today, on Anzac Day, an hour before powering up from charge.. Still left Kogan positive feedback, once the watch was on my wrist I was calmer….
