I think the $223 price you are getting from staticice isn't for the actual printer but the price for covering the printer under extended warranty?
yeah. That's for extended warranty.
lowest on staticice - $429
don't forget to use moneybackco for 5% money back! ^^
Thank you. Just was I was looking for. Bought three for family members. :)
Sold out! Can anyone recommend other good MFP deals on at the moment?
they have added more if anyone wanna buy one!
Thanks, I'm buying one!
I got the last one. Minor detail, but in case more become available, shipping actually came to $23.95 which includes transit insurance
Hi OZbargainers, thanks for your support, we have just made some more stock avail for the SUPER Price.
Product detail can be seen at http://www.topbuy.com.au/tbcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=313…
WHO still uses fax?!?!?
Come on! It's 2010 >.<
haha exactly… well it has todays equivalent as well: Scan to Email. :)
Anyone looking at this printer: Be aware that it has a Twin, which can be had at MSY for $169 or Umart for $185 or $229 from Gamedude.
Samsung SCX-4521F
They are the exact same thing other than the stickers ( I know cause i HAVE one of them). Dunno who actually makes the "original", Samsung or Fuji/Xerox but they are decent little machines.
The samsung one does not have lan connection.
No, true, but not 100% convinced this one does either. It mentions it in the text but the Xerox Model number is incomplete if it is the Network ready version: Should be 3200MFP/N if it's the Network version. Wouldn't be the first time if the Text had just been copied from a website somewhere and not checked against the actual product being sold.
This is cheap for what it is but beware that this is a discontinued model, there are no driver support for Win7 so it will not work for new computers/laptops and the replacement models uses a different toner so in a couple of years, it may be difficult to find replacement toners as well.
This unit does support Windows 7 no problem.

The Samsung equivalent above also works fine in Windows 7 32 and 64 bit
still more available they had made it a separate offer out of the day deal.

anyone who missed it can buy it here.
Why not change the main link to the new URL then?
Thanks. Just placed an order for one. I missed out on it earlier this morning.
Just confirmed price beat by OfficeWorks, but delivery cost must be included as part of product price.
I was about to buy one but they've just upped the price to $279!
Can anyone here confirm that this is the model with an Ethernet interface? I've sent an enquiry to TopBuy, but I don't expect that it'll be looked at until Monday.
(This is my first post. I've been lurking for a while, but never had the need to post until now.)
Yes, it is the ethernet model. As a B&W laser printer, it is great. The network feature is the best part. Having used this for half a month, text/document scanning is good as is the photocopy function. Photo scanning is not so good however. There is no duplex printing, not even manual duplex. Scanning in B&W is in pdf format, while scanning in colour gives it to you in TIFF. You can scan straight to email as well if you input your ISP's SMTP server details.
I ended up getting the last one from my nearest OfficeWorks for $247.33. I wanted something for faxing that could handle distinctive ring (Multiple Number, rather than Duet). We had been using a Canon FAX-L600 with an external ring decoder, but the decoder went faulty. I thought I'd fixed it, but it soon went back to passing all ring cadences. A new decoder (different type to what I have) plus postage would've cost me $149, so I thought it'd be better put towards a new fax machine or multi-function unit. I already have a networked colour laser printer with a duplexer, and a separate flatbed scanner, so some of the functions of the 3200 won't get much use, but I'm still happy with what I got for the money.
As for handling distinctive ring, this one's quite neat in the way that it has a learn function, so it doesn't matter what you're using, it'll handle it.
The fax to e-mail feature sounds interesting. I'll have to look into that.
The only downside that I've found so far is that the fax prefix field is limited, and *11*2# won't all fit. :(
I received a reply from TopBuy….
This printer does not have networking.
…. which is at odds with what Sleepycat3 said.
