Acer Netbook 10.1” LED screen. Wireless connections. Integrated webcam. Multi-in-1 card reader. Weight 1.1kg. Microsoft Windows XP. 160GB hard drive disc 1GB RAM. Intel Atom processor 1.6GHz. Same as what Coles was selling for $389 earlier this year - http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/21689 Pay $237, then claim $39 back from Acer? From what I have read from the Coles offer, it has a 3 cell battery that lasts about 3.5 hours.

For first hour of Saturday only.

Also a Samsung 42 inch HD Plasma for $648, but not limited to the first hour.

    Mine is in the store as of yesterday. Going to pick it up tomorrow, hoping for a 6 cell battery too. HN have been great, with them calling me with an update a couple of weeks ago, and the manager telling me he would sell it to me for $198 if it arrived after the $39 cashback ended. Top marks :)

              @bazza236: If the next shipment to the local store includes any netbooks with a 6 cell battery, they will swap mine over. So possibly a free battery upgrade or possibly nothing. I can't complain as it was a great deal regardless and Gary came through with the raincheck.

      I wouldn't leave it too long to send in the rebate stuff. Got mine off today - express post - and almost missed out as it is due in on Monday!

      Not really, as many have got 6 cell batteries, even though on the outside of the box it says a 3 cell. Go figure.

      Possibly by weight of the box if you can tell the difference between say 2.6 kg and 2.7 kg or have portable digital scales you can take to the shop with you :P
