If you already own one of the apps, the bundle will cost you the bundle price ($1.49) MINUS WHATEVER YOU PAID for any of the apps in the bundle.
For example, if you paid $0.99 for one of the apps, the bundle should only cost you $0.50.
This means that if you got one of the apps for FREE, then you still have to pay FULL PRICE of $1.49 for the bundle.

Also, I think if you got one of the apps for free using a code (e.g. from an IGN deal), it counts as you paid for it. So in that case you may be able to get the bundle for free.
Hitman:Sniper requires iOS 8. Upgrade your iOS and you should be able to see Hitman Essentials in App Store

I own hitman go but the bundle shows as $1.49. How do I get it free?
Try buying it, after you tap on install it will again ask you to enter password for your apple ID or use touch id and will mention how much you are paying it. It might come up as free.

It's showing up as $0.99 for me despite owning Hitman Go, so it doesn't appear to be free if you own one game.
Thanks for this. I paid full price for Hitman Go when it came out so it allowed me to "complete my collection" and get Hitman Sniper for free.
Thanks for the posting. I agree with some of the others it is a bit confusing that it gives you the price, but when you select it then it allows you to upgrade for free.
Awesome deal! I got Hitman Go a while back through IGN's free game of the month deal and today got Hitman Sniper free!! a WIN.
I guess because the IGN deal was through a code rather than an official price reduction, it must have registered that I paid full price. Hehe.
Can't hurt to check. If you go to the bundle on iTunes and it says "GET" it'll be free.
