Received an email from Shopping Express for a few deals which start from midday today until tomorrow.
RRP floats around the $25 mark… has some pretty good reviews so looks like a good little drive.

What is this code everyone keeps talking about? Where is it?
Also what is this cashrewards?
The eBay discount code deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/237686
Cashrewards gives you a % cashback if you start your shop from their site.
Thanks mate.
I actually have one of these (64GB version) and they do not take on the traits of a oil fin heater when in use unlike the Sandisk mini USB drives. They do get somewhat hot but not nearly as hot as the Sandisk ones.
Great to hear that the Samsung does not get hot.
Do (other brands) get hot all the time, or only after some heavy activity?
To my knowledge it is only the Sandisk Ultra FIT USB drives (out of decent brands anyway) that get insanely hot. In general the smaller the USB the hotter it will get under load but the Samsung holds pretty strong.
64gb version is 22 dollars > http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Samsung-64GB-USB-3-0-Flash-Drive-…
Shows as $28.50? Or is $22 after discount codes?
You da man…good work…i'll grab the ebay one thanks
I don't get these tiny flash drives that can't be attached to a keyring. What is the intended purpose and how does being super small improve things?
Got one of these for use in my car.
Plugs into the head unit, and the low profile means I don't knock it when I change gears (column shift).
Can leave them permanently plugged into your laptop without the fear of bumping it snapping them when moving your laptop about.
You can attach them to a keyring, use a small cable tie, through the slot on the USB drive.
At least you can on the Sandisk ones, the ones in this deal look like they have a similar slot.
Good thing these don't give you 3rd degree burns like the Sandisk Ultra Fit.
Seriously, those things are like touching an open flame.
i bought two of them at some Ebay deal recently.
im a little dissapointed, it's a nice drive but,
write speeds are terrible - has a good burst at the start before settling on a steady 18-20mb/s
its' nice that it doesnt stick out much on the macbook but sandisk ultra is a lot faster.
Flash drive seems to be cheaper here with the 20% off code and Cashrewards?
