I just recontracted with Telstra and received samsung S5 on this Tuesday. I put an ad on Gumtree for $380 last night. I received a few messages asking $300-320 this morning which I refused.
But I got a call from someone who offered me $350 which I accepted thinking its much better deal than 300-320 (meeting tomorrow morning). Do you guys think it was a good price for a new S5? Im kinda regretting it now after I saw a few used S5 selling for around 399. And also I could have given it to my relative who needs a phone for her school.
Do you guys think it was a good price?

I could be wrong, but if I saw new for $400 online, then second hand new I would expect to pay around $300 maybe a little over or I probably wouldn't get it. So to get $350 seems really good if I were you.
Besides even if it wasn't, you probably would've only lost out in like $50 max, so at least its not like you're losing out on something huge.

They are most likely grey imports, but still have the warranty. I think $350 is a good price to have settled for given the circumstances.

That one on eBay for $409 is not brand new, it says in the listing.
You might get $450+ on eBay but you'd end up paying postage, eBay and PayPal fees. And possible money back guarantee within the first 180 days.

I paid 300 for a used one almost exactly 12 months ago on gumtree. you got a good price for it
Brand new? Yes it is. You can get 450-500 for it.
