I notice they have removed the Penfolds branding from the Rawsons label. And no mention of Rawson on the Penfolds website.
They have disowned it.
It it really still made by Penfolds, or spun off to another branch of the Treasury Wine Estates conglomerate?

Rawsons retreat may have had the Penfold brand, but I remember it as very average.

They did market research a while back regarding the association with penfolds.
The company was aiming to reserve the penfolds branding to the better wines
