      It depends, the $69.95 deal has more interesting single origins but will be roasted more as light/medium roast to highlight the characteristics and make the coffees shine. This will mean a bit more acidity than some of the more chocolatey coffees in the $59.95 deal which will be roasted as medium/medium dark.

      Traditionally espresso roasts are roasted slightly darker to knock off some of the acidity but I personally enjoy light medium roasts when drinking espresso so I suppose it vary's according to the individual.

        I'm new to making espresso at home and came here to ask the same question.

        Any chance of mixing some packs of lighter and darker roasts while I'm working out flavours? Or even better would be a half size pack of everything as a sampler?
