  • I just looked online and it says out of stock.

    • Click and collect is still available. I just had a look.

You'd be a brave person to click and collect at this stage.

Why? They are closing in 8 weeks.

        • @dirtycarrot: anytime in 8 weeks for all stores.

        • @dirtycarrot:

Second part of your comment is exactly why.

        • @dirtycarrot:
closing anytime between today and 8 weeks.

@PVA: Thanks, I didn't know that. It should still be fine if you pay with a credit card / paypal where you can dispute the transaction.

      • i looked via my phone and it says out of stock, looking on my pc shows different???

        • The mobile site has been like that for months, with C&C. Surprised you weren't already aware.

        • @nismo:
nope, never knew it didnt work properly.

  • I agree that it's not worth the risk. I would only pay where I can get the item then and there.

  • Pay using paypal/credit card and you should be ok getting money back?

    • Or you could try and price match at OW's!

  • No warranty after 8 weeks?

    • Yes, there is. Go through the manufacturer i.e Fitbit

These have been much cheaper before, around $120-$130

  • I've had this for a year. Bought it for about $130+ last year. The HR monitor is an inaccurate gimmick, not worth paying extra for IMHO.

    • Must be you. I find mine rather accurate.

      • Mine's also pretty accurate

I got mine when it was around $130 from The Good Guys (eBay 20% off). $160 isn't cheap. Better to wait around for the next deal to come.

    • Unless there is cheaper right now, your neg isn't valid, but I agree that it's better to wait for a cheaper price.
I got one from Dick Smith just before Christmas for $135 c&c.

      • yep me too (got it for my wife). She broke it about a month ago and as DSE was already in administration I emailed Fitbit directly and they sent out a new one as replacement, so no complaints there. The HR model is worth it as you get the better quality band with a proper buckle.

      • What I'm saying is, the deals for the Fitbit for around $130 mark have been quite regular and therefore I would expect another one to come soon. This might be the cheapest price right now, but in the scope of a few weeks or a few months and if you wait that long, this is no deal.

    • Paid $125 for my charge HR last year…..

Edit…..want back under warranty after failed to charge anymore.

    • 12 days later… The Good Guys with eBay 20% off :)

  • may I ask, should then we be expecting some ultimate store or online sales anytime soon? I heard that approx $200M stock in stores will go on sale.

    • Yes, but probably all DSE branded plastic shite that will fall apart. All the name brand stuff like this they'll probably send back to the supplier for a refund of some sort so they don't have to mark it down

      • LOL very true… thanks mate! your statement sounds fairly reasonable and as well as from DSE business perspective. Will still keep an eye on it :->()

For anyone who's partner frequently doesn't answer their phone because it's on silent or away from it, these things are great. Alerts them to whoever is calling by vibrating and displaying name on screen. Is the greatest present I have ever bought for my wife. ☺

I just wish my wife would wear the one I bought her!
