These sorts of games are always $1. They just don't sell due to being shovelware.
True for most, but Fantasia: Music Evolved is quite superb and anything but shovelware.
I got this online during last $1 special still in the box.

I wasn't really interested in them lol, it was only for personal reference - in the BigW sale a few weeks back I missed out on Sleeping Dogs & Sunset Overdrive at Mt Om :(
@rightformula1: Check out Big W in Queen St in the City. They had heaps of games left when I was there last week.

Can confirm this is nationwide, although dont expect all stores to have stock of $1 games, some stores dont stock alot of older gen titles, plus alot of store were cleaned out by ozbargain back in December. Not to mention prices are determined by the store, so some stores might have $1 titles for $5 or $10, its up to their discretion. This sale started a couple of weeks ago by the way.

Yes, there are some less-than-stellar ones, but there are also some good ones too. Just picked up GRID Autosport and The Walking Dead season one for $1 each from one store. And from another, I found 5 copies of Fable: The Journey.
Best to duck in when if you're going to pass by already.
jb has $1 games in their clearance bins every so often and not these craptacular titles but actual decent titles.

Fantasia Music Evolved is actually quite a wonderful game.
Lol, just because a game isnt within your prefered genre does not make it "shovelware". Funny given the amount of mediocre 1st/3rd person shooters / mediocre open world games that came out on the 360/ps3. This is why game makers play it safe, and people still complain about lack of variety. Lol. This is why alot of games are just online shooters now with little else in the offline department.
I agree, shovelware means a broken/unpolished game like big rigs (shoveled out the door), not something you dont like.
