You don't need to pay for training or buy anything. Its asking to share your previous trainings experience, anywhere else, if you ever had any.

The only issue I see is what if I write a negative review? Why do you have to send the review to the trainer for approval?
Could you not just ask if I was a customer?
Manic, negative responses won't send to trainers and will automatically posted on the website. But we still need to verify the trainers via the information provided and they will be notified about the review, since they have the right to respond to that.
It'd be nice if I did have or had a personal trainer and would know that I wasn't going to get spammed

Lovebargain, response from your trainer is required otherwise it is hard to tell if someone has really worked with trainer. However we've had a great response from them, since this also benefits them as well and help their training business. They don't need to pay anything.
Write a bad review and you know who will come grab you and your $20 vouchers……
