Another clearance Aldi deal, i thought $14.99 for a powerbank that could charge your standard mobile approximately 3 times over is not bad.

Woops wrong one, corrected now.
Refering to DP i guess.
Well spotted, Radem. However, Aldi's clearance items are very store-specific. Please include the store where you saw it. Maybe commenters can add more when they see them.
Newcastle Aldi : $12.99
Bought one last week. God only knows why, I have so many Xiaomi's.
You wouldn't go with a Xiaomi with Mushtato when it's on sale?
Depends. Mushtato is a great local (Australian) seller, the Xiaomi 10,000mAh power banks are great, the Xiaomi 16,500mAh power banks are a bit iffy.
I'd definitely buy from Mushtato, but I'd choose my Xiaomi power bank product carefully.
Can you elaborate on whats wrong with the 1600mah xiaomi ones?
How long would this normally take to charge through solar?
Overnight should do it…
But wouldn't that…. ohhhhh I get it.
seems like very limited quantity
seems that way…
Hi OP, how many do they have in stock?
one… it's in the pic.
Sorry didnt ask but they only keep a display one at the front and usually have stock at the back, they still got stock of the 64gb usb3.0
and usually have stock at the back
I've found for clearance, red ticket items, they 'usually' only have what's on display…
You might want to watch some youtube vids regarding this battery design. Very dodgy.
They have videos about how they designed the battery??
I got one of these, it's pretty good, holds alot of charge. I drained the battery to test if the solar actually charged it or if it was just a gimmick, but it does (although painfully slowly - after an hour in the sun I could charge my phoine about 5% lol). However it could save you in an emergency. Nice little device.
if it was a REAL emegency you mean you have to charge you for 1 hour to get 5% battery? you'd probably be dead by then?
for real emergencies - you can get hand crank usb chargers - instant power as long as you keep cranking.
If this theoretical person had only enough life in them to survive for an hour, what makes you think they'd have the strength to turn a crank at the speed and consistency required to charge a phone?
Nice photo
