  • You're the man.

  • Wow Homefront is actually happening, nice one OP!

  • thanks OP

  • Legend.

I played this at the EB Games Expo and really enjoyed it. Only real issue is the walls "You are leaving the combat zone". There was a part where you had to avoid a patrol so I walk around the back of a house to sneak past them and get "You are leaving the combat zone". Pretty poor design but it was a demo.

  • Thanks! I've got one :)

So I assume we will only be able to play from Feb 11-14, then we will have to pay for it? right?

What? …do you know what a beta is?

  • I didn't mind the first Homefront. It's been a long time coming for the sequel.
Looking forward to giving this beta a crack :)

  • Only reason i bought the original Homefront was because the script writer was the same for the original 'Red Dawn'. Wonder who did this one.

  • Thanks for the share. Much appreciated :)

  • no competitive multiplayer, only coop . was hoping for competitive multiplayer. the first one was fun.

  • Cheers OP, keen to give it a shot :)

  • This "Beta" stuff is getting a bit out of hand. Does this mean that the Devs have only made an Alpha release for their own testing? No.

    • In a way it's a good thing. Demos, especially on PC are scarce these days and a beta allows you to see how you like a game you may previously have been unsure of.

I tried the betas for Hardline, Battlefront and Siege and while each was enjoyable in some aspects, it wasn't enough for me to warrant a purchase.
