It might always be free though as you can download a PDF version, but from a quick skim the info doesn't seem any different than what I learnt from the numerous "How to keep chickens" websites available anyway.

So anyone who is thinking of shelling out for this, the message is "Cock a doodle don't!!"

  • Seems i got this when free back in may 2013.

It was some pretty basic stuff. If you have no idea but thinking bout getting chickens have a read otherwise like said above there are plenty of websites or better books probably at your local library.

  • Obviously not much to learn… Only 44 pages.

    • No, it's just not that hard. We have 32, two roosters, they make their own replacements as well, we eat the surplus males and their unborn progeny (eggs) and the aged ladies are boiled down for superb stock…. chicken pot pie !

  • Thanks OP! The missus got three chickens a few months back so this will help.

  • Why not. Thanks OP.

  • This is great, eventually I want to get 10 chickens per m2 and I have a 40m2 yard so I reckon about 400 eggs a day. Does it tell you how to stack chickens in cages to get even more yield?
