    Wow, that's expensive, only $4.50 in Melbourne…

    • Where?

        Secure Parking

        • Can you link to the deal? I haven't seen any $4.50 Secure Parking…

        • @jv: Oooh thanks :)

        • @iPwnJ00:

There was another code for the Chinese New Year but the mods deleted it as a dupe of this one…

Sydney is more expensive than Melbourne.

    • Lol. Secure parking will almost always tells you there is no spot available for booking.

select the most expensive option before applying the code, that usually works…

        • Thanks jv. I will give it a try next friday.

          @rubig:

It's worked for me a few times.

Often, when you select a parking location, it has a few different pricing options. Usually, the cheaper ones are limited and sell out more quickly.

The codes give you the same price, regardless of which option you choose…

        • @jv:
          Thanks. Got you jv.

Always crazy parking prices in sydney but op pointed out good locations, like Hilton hotel or no 1 martin place for weekend prices is pretty good enter at 6am and leave 4am/6am next morning.

Good locations in Sydney cbd if you want to have a good night out (w/o) going over the limit of course.

    • The night won't be that good if you need to check out and move the car before 4am/6am, especially after a crazy night with your new-known partner.

Fairly sure, it's $7.50 at Allianz centre. Used it a couple times already this month. Hopefully, it remains at this price.

    • Yep it is. Booked for today. No code needed.

  • Next weekend I'm hiring a car and I need to return it at 8am on Monday to a place near Hyde Park. Any ideas for where I could park the car overnight until that time for on the cheap?

If it's easier to suggest a lot nearer Darling Harbour that'd also ok as that is where I'm staying.

Last year I hired a car at the same time and found two Street lots outside Raddison hotel which were free parking till 8am, which was perfect. However I walked past them yesterday and their signs have changed.

    Thanks!

    • Maybe south of Liverpool St (south of Hyde Park). There are a lot of street parkings there. Or around Surry Hills area south of Oxford St.

      • Yeah I figured I'd need to get out of the CBD this time. Thanks

        • Hilton hotel is only 2-3 blocks from Hyde park.

If near darling harbour,320 Harris Street is pretty good location.

  • getting the message "The Promotion Code you have entered is not applicable to the Car Park or Product you have selected in your booking" when i selected the carpark that is listed on their page :(

  • Actually pretty cheap for Sydney around that area. Weekends are around $1.70/hr street parking and next cheapest is Wilson Parking under the Novatel which is $15 flat rate weekends.
