Deep Purple made in Japan and Van Halen (among others) remastered and HD for about $0.30 each. Eruption in pristine format as well as Ian Paice ripping it apart.
Personally, I think we are getting ripped off by paying for music in utterly crap MP3 format. All music should be sold in this format along with the option to make crap MP3 copies.
I agree with you that audio should be sold as lossless - however wouldn't go as far as to call compressed audio "utterly crap". The difference between lossless and 320 is negligible to the majority of listeners, especially those with low-end audio gear.
Have done many ABX tests with high end equipment to prove a significant difference, yet find myself with only an 80% accuracy rate.

Thanks OP and simonbrads, 10 albums downloading for $2.47. Now, just need to install Foobar2000 on the new lappy and dust off my Geekout 1000 and HD650s. Be aware that these HDTracks might cost more than you think if you don't have the gear to play them LOL.
That said, if you don't have the gear, Foobar2000 is free and will play through normal sound cards, you just don't get the benefit of the HiRes.
