Dam I used my free trial a few years ago. Who wants to bet that I will pay money for membership?
I bet you'll create a new email a/c and sign up again.
Anyway you can get trial again? I have $55 store credit ^.^
I wasn't aware that the COTD Club Catch existed a few years ago, i thought it was a fairly recent thing.
2.1kg is fairly heavy considering antler has same sized bags under 1.8kg
Not for $50 they don't.
The Samsonite 72 Hour cabin roller is my pick for lightweight, at 1.5kg it's outstanding. However it's now $177.66
Pretty sure these are 50% off at DJ's atm
Yes, down to $197 from $329: http://shop.davidjones.com.au/djs/ProductDisplay?catalogId=1…
And you only have 4.9kg to pack :)
Cabin bags must have a total dimension of less than 115cm. This is 118cm so technically it's not a cabin bag. COTD description even says medium roller case.
May buy it and use it as shopping trolley ? :)
Great idea
I presume this comes with a TSA key…
No?
It would come with a standard key for that lock. The TSA symbol just means it can be opened by a master key that the TSA has so they don't cut your lock off if they want to inspect your bag.
I checked with cotd livechat, this is actually the 68cm medium sized luggage. Not cabin
It says 56cm rollercase on the COTD product page. And i can't find any 68cm Qantas luggage listed on the COTD web site. The 68cm Qantas luggage that they did have sold out already. And there are no 68cm luggage at all of any brand listed to begin with because there are none available. I think that livechat person doesn't know what he/she is talking about.
The weight and capacity matches this one: www.bagworld.com.au/shop/detail/qantas-airlight-medium-68cm-…
Also cotd description does state 'medium rollerbag'
Well ok you're right, it seems that COTD doesn't know what they're doing advertising a luggage as 56cm when it's really 68cm.
@hollykryten: Ordered, let's see what arrives. It'll be them paying the costly return postage after all.
Will be interesting to see which bag or actually is. There is a 56cm air light but the dimensions, weight and capacity are different to what COTD listed.
http://www.luggagegear.com.au/qantas/6952-qantas-airlight-56…
And also that's advertised as a spinner case, not actually as roller case.
RRP of this luggage is $179
http://www.qantasshop.com.au/product-371-Qantas_Airlight_rol…
Big drop in price from $179 to $50 delivered through COTD. Makes it a rightful bargain.
COTD says the RRP. They probably got the stock from a shop that closed down that sold qantas luggage. Other places are selling from $90 so not as big a bargain as one may think.
Thanks,
Just picked one up! I'm hopeful it'll be bigger!
Can refer to this, apparently they looks the same.

Have one set… very happy!
Even though this is shown as a QANTAS bag, the dimensions are just 4cm outside the Jetstar carry-on rules…
So close. So tempting…
They have updated the COTD day listing and it now says 68cm bag. The description still says medium size like before. Same capacity of 55L but dimensions have changed.
It was a mistake all along. False sale description by COTD when it comes to size.
We all knew it was a mistake but just posting that they have updated it to the correct dimensions now.
Might want to mention club catch req in title.
