Hey looking at getting this laptop for basic uni work such as Microsoft office and watching YouTube. Does anyone have one and can give a review? I know I can add an extra hdd via the cd drive but is it easy to upgrade the ram? My budget is around 300 so this laptop seems ok but can't find any reviews.
Thanks.

The MANUAL does not say anything about being able to upgrade the RAM, referring to Chapter 5 (Upgrading).

Very likely some 'advanced skills' in laptop dissasembly may be required for you to access the SODIMM slot.
The good thing is, is that it has an empty 2.5" HDD slot, so you can place a HDD or an SSD in there to expand the original 32GB of storage.
$300 is too much to pay for such a low end device. It has been cheaper at $233 a while back, but requiring you to use a welcome voucher.

This laptop is much better value considering the fact that the RAM is already at 4GB and the storage is much larger (128GB SSD). Also the processor is also newer gen (N3540)
