was going to get this but after reason a few mediocre reviews and the fact that you can't play multiplayer mode with just 2 players (leaves just single player or 3 full players to play) makes me want to miss this game
You will be missing out. Reviews to me seem to be people wanting a full zelda experience, which it clearly is not meant to be. I agree with the IGN review the most after playing the game for a while. I do agree that not being able to play with 2 players is not great but playing with randoms online has been actually a lot more fun than expected
Make sure you have 2 friends to play the game with you.
I generally agree with the above comments and Dany34 is right, even with strangers the game is really fun. I think its the single player that sort of brings it down a bit. But as long as you play multiplayer its great fun.
Agreed, when I played it alone at first it seemed a bit tedious and not great. Online however most people seem to be pretty decent and I had a fun time especially with the emotes. I have to say however going back to some single player now that I have the hang of things is not as bad but still not ideal.
Played this once with 2 other friends - laughed our butts off for the next 3 hours because
- When lifting up your friend, they are essentially powerless - cue screams of 'let me go!'
- The temptation to throw your friend off the cliff is too much
- Tried concentrating really hard to do some parts of it properly - screw up some of the easiest things due to unreleased laughter from #1 and #2
11/10 would play again
Reminds me of couch coop!
Might check this out. Is it hard to find other players online?
At the moment, it is pretty easy. I can get decent players as well.
half price for a zelda game within 5 months of release speaks the quality of this title.
Nah it might mean it was reviewed poorly and people have been reluctant to buy it.
I played the demo and wasn't overly impressed but I did get noobs a few times. I can see how it doesn't appeal as much as the traditional zelda game.
i feel this will still be better than that random metroid spin off. that thing actually looks like a mini game
Looks like the mini metroid game from Nintendo land.
Nintendo discounting the latest Zelda game?! Must not be selling very well
