A very popular android game with over 4000+ reviews on google play.
Once again credit goes to hotukdeals, where it has raked up 500+ votes in 6 hours.

there's always fruit ninja and doodle jump for you
Thats funny, the two games I actually enjoyed!
Defence tower and puzzle games are ok. Action games no chance. Some RPG are also good.
I used to play gameboy rpgs on an emulator on my phone but the save files often corrupted and I gave up :'(
Highly recommend the Tales of Illyria series. Basically a cross between a fantasy version of Oregon Trail and a Choose Your Own Adventure gamebook. It's the only mobile RPG I've played that comes close to its PC counterparts.
Try "Diversion". Simple controls (jumping - that's it)

Yeah, touch-screen games generally suck. I have enjoyed a few — like calculords, hitman go, knights of pen and paper — but I'd rather read comics to kill time on my phone rather than sift through the endless bullshit that is mobile gaming.
Let me guess… It's dropped to 20c… but in reality you need to spend $xx on in-game purchases within the game and it probably bugs you about upgrades etc?
from quick read of a couple reviews, that doesn't seem to be the case. IAP mainly just a shortcut to better weapons, which are achieved through regular progression without much need for grinding anyway. so IAP not really an issue.
Pretty good
10% discount if you are a Google Play Music subscriber (like me).
Price becomes $0.18.
Win :)
Thanks for your 2 cents.
Or free if you use your Google Opinions app credit :)
It's not free. I traded my time for those credits!
A whole 5 seconds on "Have you been to X recently?".
@Clear: 5 seconds on the survey means 5 seconds less on OzBargain
@aaronbaron: 2 screens or 2 devices ;)
I think I spend an average of 3 to 6 seconds on them. $70 for about 10 minutes? Profit!
Or telstra prepaid billing, where I have no idea how to spend $30 on apps a month
A month??
@Utopian:
Yeah Freedom Plus (prepaid) offers include various amounts of "recharge credit" which you can use to buy items in the play store (on android devices) once you set up carrier billing on the device. (Also i think Windows Mobile OS too, for the few people with those phones ) :-)
I switched from Boost to these plans recently as for the same money you get everything on offer on Boost and the recharge credit to use every month and it even rolls over if you don't use it ( not sure how long for, i have only been with the plan for about 2 months now).
The thing I like about it is you can buy items for use on non Sim card enabled devices such as Nvidia Shield - basically anything you connect your play store account to you can buy content for , including music/ movies/ books etc from the play store.
You can also use it to pay for various subscription services - not gone down that path yet so others may be able to provide more detail on that.
More detail in here, which is where I found out about it:

@raydragon: I've bought handfuls of the $5 for $30 credit SIMs… but put them on 12mth "plan" giving me time to use it. Wasn't aware of a monthly plan that offers it. Strange. Will read, thanks.
Im just curious if anyone know can sort all the apps from lowest price to highest?
Does anyone else see David Bowie in the helmet on the thumbnail? Just in my mind I guess.
It's just David Bowie RIP. Get over it :P
The helmet and the blonde wearing the armour is probably a rip-off homage to Samus from the Metroid series.
Looks like a woman to me.
Isn't that what he said.
Oh. Now I feel bad.
Well, that's a first. Incompatible with my Galaxy S3 and my Huawei P8 lite
Deal expired? Coming as $1.19 for me on US play store. Maybe deal just isn't active yet
Try the better Play Store ;)
No 'Xenocross,' no deal!
Nice deal, thanks.
So it's valves 'Alien Swarm' but dulled down for a phone? no thnx.
I love a steam! thx
Pretty good deal
I used to play this every day when I was a kid.
I still haven't been able to get into mobile games. I'm far too clumsy on a slick glass screen than KB/mouse or a controller. I know you can get controllers for phones but that defeats the purpose for me.
