Ive waited about 6 months for a good wii u bundle or stand alone console deal. They seemed to have great clearance dales every other year. Does anybody know of a sub $300 deal coming up?
There has to be a good Wii U sale soon.

NX -reveal- is later in the year. (I mean, it might be for a december release still.) But we still don't know what it is; it may not even replace the Wii-U. It's my theory that it'll be a tablet, since Nintendo are moving into that market and released a statement that "This market will be applications with the goal of getting more attention back to our core platforms".
I'd say it isn't an absolute kick in the sack to get a Wii-U soon, but it is probably best waiting, since, knowing Nintendo, if it IS another core console, it'll be backwards compatible anyway.

I still laugh how my $214 50% off DSE sale WiiU is the best deal STILL. The price is really poor in comparison to PS4/Xbone.

I'm with ya. I resisted the slim ammount of Christmas offers, boxing day had nothing and still nothing on the horizon. Surely somethings around the corner.
Wii U sold 380,000 consoles in a week during Dec which is a great sign and pushes their total to 12.4m
On a Wii U deal you really need to wait for the 20% off ebay deals, they seem to be besti just picked up 2 mario kart wii u bundles at kmart in mt druitt they said shipment just came in sale price $200 won't last long though.

KMart stopped buying hardware from Nintendo Australia Pty Ltd almost six months ago now.
Guys proof is in the pudding I got 2 the Kmart product code is 9318113997898 200 bucks I even told you guys which store I got it feel free to confirm if they sold 2 on jan 20 2016 ph number is 0294213800 so yeah there's your colour oz dj

well I don't know I only signed up to help the op get a good deal I am only using my phone have tried to copy paste the proof of purchase but comes up giber jabba but as I said I got 2 and they were 200 ech with pre installed mario kart give my druitt a call on the number above see if they have any left and if they take payment over ph I only brought this up to share the great bargain not to be judged or told I'm not believed because at the end of the day I don't know you and have nothing to prove because my gesture was meant to be a good deed not to troll a forum and annoy people so again I have given you the information what you do with it is up to you
I gave the store a call and unfortunately they dont sell any game consoles whatsoever.

Maybe, wait for the NX reveal / announcement?, if not look out for second hand / gumtree (you may want to do this to either grab a console with a low firmware version OR retain the firmware at a certain version, check out homebrew on gbatemp or in general), similarly extra wiimotes should be picked up this way, btw old thread to post in.

I noticed Target was selling some at $299 the other week. However when I went to Target, not a Wii U in sight. Also no consoles in sight at BigW either. Maybe you're right and hopefully be able to get a deal when the NX comes out…
I bought it for $220 in Feb with postage, and the listing came with a :
- wii u pro controller
- wii classic controller
- wiimote (i think, but can't recall) + nunchuk
- new super mario bros U (no luigi)
- smash brawl (wii)
The Wii U gamepad had a screen protector and silicone protector put on over it too (from one of the starter kits you can commonly find in EB, didn't get a charge dock though).
Had the low firmware version I was after too.
I've finally decided I want one and now they are ~400 everywhere. Insane, more expensive than a PS4 or XB1. I'd bite for $299
It's just like the PS Vita…even at the height of EB's mid year big sale, both brand new and preowned ones are still selling at full RRP. Even EB Games is doing bundle deals for their 3DS and 2DS range.
