Vintage 2012
94 points www.winecompanion.com.au
Right in the sweet spot. Nothing overdone but oodles of dark fruit power. Flavours of leather, blackberry, saltbush and then a mix of cloves and chocolate. Smooth body of flavour. Tangy through the finish. Tannin, but set into the fruit, so that it comes across as seamless.

Love me that leather flavour
it's a great wine for $10. though I would ask for price match and go with 2012.
Waiting for Dan to respond…last time VC had them for $10, Dan dropped them to $9.99 almost instantly.
Both them prices are in any 6 bottle buy. Singles are $11.10 and $14.99. 15/14.25 at first choice, only 2013 available. Can price match if not near a VC.
Definitely 2013, as I dropped by tonight to pick one up, and enjoyed it very much.
My local VC has them for 10 bucks flat, whether you buy 1 or 100.
If you like the robust red style, it's hard to see where you could get anything comparable at this proce.
As far as I can see, you are comparing different vintages. The VC is 2013 and the review is for 2012. Still might be nice, of course.
