    Good for tea buffs,
otherwise the Kenwood is similar price and much less ugly IMHO.

  • less ugly. LOL

    Disgusting tacky looking thing.
Awful brand. Cheap and nasty. Junk.

      Don't hold back now.

    • what's a good brand anyways?

  • If you want pre-set temperatures, this is the only one I'd consider buying:

No ugly base as found on the other models, such as the one posted here.

No no no, I had the same opinion and bought the Cuisinart a year and a half ago. The numbers have worn off the buttons and the lid doesn't open anymore - I was really disappointed and now have to replace the damn thing.

      • hmmmm….I know two people with this kettle who've owned it for nearly 2 years.
        No issues.

Sounds like it has failed to meet consumer guarantees requirement of reasonable quality and lasting a reasonable period of time (without faults). Dont pay for a new kettle when you can get it replaced under warranty.

Are you telling me i have been drinking green tea wrong all those years?

    Nooooooooooo…..

    • but you do do the thing with your little finger, don't you?

        Maybe.

Now I'm just giggling that you said doodoo :P

  • cannot find a single store that has stock in NSW or QLD(goldcoast) (maybe I'm not looking hard enough, but i tried all the metro areas)

      none in Vic either…

  • Gee - this post went off the boil pretty quickly once we worked out stock was pretty low. Expect interest to simmer now. But my comments are probably too little too latte.
