    Code excludes pre-orders

Cmon, it's even in the title! Otherwise it's $46.99, in which case CD-Keys is cheaper

  • oops, my bad.

Id hold off, rumours are game keys being bundled with nvidia cards soon so there'll be lots of cheaper keys floating around.

    • Good news, I have to pickup a 970 for the missus next week will keep an eye out

    • Got all the best games I didn't play last year this way

    • I just bought a new graphics card so missed out. :(

    • Where did you read these rumours?

    • The only thing that bothers me with this Nvidia rumour is that Tomb Raider and Crystal Dynamics uses AMD's API. In fact, this is the first time I've heard of Nvidia cross promoting like that but i'd love to be proven wrong.

      • agreed now that I think about it, the last tomb raider was heavily AMD optimised

Apparently Nvidia worked closely with Crystal Dynamics to add Nvidia VXAO tech to the game. http://www.windowscentral.com/rise-tomb-raider-due-windows-s…
I loved the first one, ran excellently in triple screen eyefinity mode on an r9 290.

        • Mmm yes i too was informed that VXAO has been added, and that AMD, since CD have already optimized TressFX, had very little hand in developing the title.

Would be funny if it still had an 'AMD Gaming Evolved' splash screen though!

I'm going to hold off pre-ordering, want to see if Nvidia has added any shenanigans to the PC code.

its a great game anyway.. i havent played heaps yet cos fallout but ive loved what i have played

dont preorder….the price will dive after a month post release as usual with every AAA game

Agreed. Pre-ordering games just encourages developers to release unfinished games.

      • I agree, we got con by likes of Deadstiny since 2014, but this game is a port, I even think it is the original developed platform, hence it is unlikely after the mass that was batman ak any big company dare to release a half finished port, especially it is tomb raider.

        Hence this game is safer.

      • I don't think it's a port at all (just a timed exclusive) the game was originally developed on PC and the second one is using the same engine. Should run a treat unless they really did something stupid. I can't wait so will break my usual stance and preorder at this price.

Square Enix games tend to fall in price more quickly than others, I think.
