The complete Season 1 of Galavant is currently free on the US iTunes store, in HD. Possibly a pricing error, but a great chance to take a look if you have a US iTunes account or want to create one (you can do this for free, just Google it). The show is a musical comedy set in the medieval fantasy genre; probably an acquired taste but I thought it was loads of fun and one of the most original shows I'd seen in a long time. Enjoy!

Nice. I've been wanting this but can't buy it on itunes au.
Yeah for some reason it hasn't been released on the AU store. There's no DVD or blu-ray release either; it's a shame it doesn't seem to get much support, it's a great show! Season 2 just started too. :)
Great show I'm half way through it. Like a cross between The Princess Bride and The Holy Grail.
Thanks OP
Got it
It is a funny show. A bit quirky.
Second season starts tonight on Hulu.
Thanks for the heads up - my fiancee really enjoyed it (I'm not so into Musicals :) )
So long as you somewhat enjoyed watching it with your fiancee.
Second season just began, don't miss Kylie's big number in the first episode!
This year's least expected big event…
A new season for our Hero's and pals!Didn't think you literally meant Kylie!!
Loved the Whitewalker reference though LOL
Tried to watch the first episode… thought it was dreadful. haha
Twas a fun show indeed!
Love this show - a little cloying with the romantic subplot, but otherwise it's like an extra-camp Monty Python. Also has a decent line-up of guest stars and the cast is great.
Not a pricing error, part of the promo for the start of season 2 (which started today). They've posted about it on their Facebook page.
Love this show, it's such a fantastic, campy time!
1+ for this show. Watched it on the torrent store on release. Will buy a copy for future gifting.
Thanks I signed up an account on the apple website and set it usa home address in itunes.
Thanks OP. Just in time for rainy holiday viewing.
BTW, how do you come across these? They have a free episodes link on the main page (US itunes only) that changes roughly once a month.
Usually it is just the first episode, but occasionally a season. Some series with free episodes this month are:
Cosmos
Outlander
Nathan for You
Magic City
Black Sails
Camelot
The Lion Guard (cartoon)etc
Thanks R, I've never seen a complete season on the Free Episodes pane including Galavant currently.
Perhaps OzBargain could have a separate "Free Downloads" section, much like Gaming has so we don't miss anything.Magic City was a brilliant series (and cancelled after season 2 unfortunately). Bought the 2 Discs from Ebay.
Love the show!
Thanks OP.

Stumbled on this show and was surprised to find what looks like a gem in the rough. Mainstream TV (ABC< CBS and ABC) has been lagging as of late.Good mix of: Monty Python, South Park, Men in Tights (Mel Brooks TV Show from the 70's) and Glee (in medieval times) I was surprised to find no one from Monty Python was involved with this show. So many things remind me of Holy Grail and so on. If this was a cartoon, the Boys at Southpark would have a field day. I'm looking forward to see how this story line plays out and if and who shows up as guest stars. The songs are catchy, a story that's funny and pretty girls. What more do you want?
Looks oddly interesting will nab it, cheers.
