  • Kidstuff at 501 Riversdale Rd, Camberwell, VIC is closing down

I'm not surprised they are closing, it was a really poor choice for location for a kid's store…

    • Actually they are moving to a new location on Burke Rd.

      • That sounds a better location.

That intersection is way too dangerous if you have small kids strolling around near the entrance.

      • Do you really expect great deals if all they are doing is moving down the road?

Thanks for this. Planning on going at 10am (my son's birthday is this week, so good timing on Kidstuff's behalf!). Will try and post an update about what is left.

Just been to foodstuff. No Lego, but still a lot of stuff there (especially for younger kids). Lots if dolls, games etc. Sylvania families, Peppa Pig, Thomas, Minecraft, scooters, water toys, need stuff. Definitely worth a trip, but not sure there will be much by the end if the day.

Yeah I was there earlier today as well, plenty of scooters and a few balance bikes. Also have some ride on cars.

Overheard the girl say that it's not being advertised much and is relying on word of mouth

Just been. Still a lot of good stuff there. Spent over $170 on birthday presents.
I know my prices, so was happy to get things a bit cheaper than the toy sales.

    • Saved over $170 on birthday presents.

      • Nice comment.
But I am an OzBargainer, I would never pay RRP. Though usually 20-30% off would be the best most stores could do so 50% off is great.
In actual fact, 3 kids are probably getting better presents than they deserve.

Nice range of toys. Would be good to see the store in a better location.
