Great headphones for the price. Says on ear but I'm pretty sure from the other pair I have that they are over ear as they only make one sort according to sennheisers website.

  I would say that they are over ear. Last time I tried a pair on, they easily covered my ears.

  So unless you've got big ears, I would say they're over ear.

    Yeah. I'm starting to think the guys at Sennheiser must have huge ears as they commonly label over ears as on ears. Like in my recent deal post on the Seenheiser HD8 DJ. They market them as on ear, but they definitely fit over mine and my cousin's and he literally has "elephant ears".
