  • i havent herbed about this site before.

  • Any nice coffee tasting flavors? out there?

    • Apparently ON's mocha is highly rated, haven't tried it myself.

      I have a bag of Bulk Nutrients coffee flavour WPC and it is very nice, even better when mixed with milk (no caffeine in case you were wondering).

  • lol ive noticed they put up the price for some proteins to compensate for the 20% off discount. Pretty lame from iherb

    Not sure about other products

  • Unless there's a coupon code or something I'm missing they aren't off to a good start: ON 5lbs whey - $99 http://au.iherb.com/Optimum-Nutrition-100-Whey-Gold-Standard… ex shipping

    $89 here: https://massivejoes.com/shop/optimum-nutrition-gold-standard…

    $88 here: http://www.suppsrus.com.au/brands/optimum-nutrition/optimum-…

    $89 and free tshirt here: https://www.nutritionwarehouse.com.au/gold-standard-100-whey…

    • Their site confused me with the pricing also, but click add to cart, and the ON 5lbs whey comes to AU$75.52 (and free shipping etc). If you add something else small value, around $5-6 will do it, it gets bumped into the 10% discount range and you more or less get the extra item free as well.

      Edit, no coupon codes that I'm aware of.

        The ON protein was around $80 aud a few days ago. Now it's $99.

        They have increased prices.

        • Still cheaper delivered though at ~$75 (plus further discounting can be had with a few more $$$ spent.

          Is this why you revoked your + vote? Just curious.

          @nismo:

          yes, I jumped on to get some protein and was disappointed for this move from iHerb

          Nothing against you, just lame move from iHerb

        • @easternculture:

          I bought it for 120$ delivered from the ebay deal for 10lbs.

          No deal!

          @aerona:
          I don't think you should compare a sitewide eBay deal (with 15% off), where there's dozens of supplement stores competing against each other (on eBay) for your $ to one store (iHerb).

        • @easternculture:

          Fair enough.

          I agree that upping the price from ~$80 to $99 is quite bad, but after discount it's still $5 cheaper so for now I think it's still a good price, especially if you compare to other prices mentioned in Stefce's comment

          @nismo:

          Considering most supplement giant distributor companies reside on ebay gives huge reason for the comparison. It's almost like you're saying don't compare ausvac real shop to a discount with the good guys with the ebay coupon because good guys are online and ausvac is ausvac.

      You've ignored the part that says discount shows in cart.

      ON 5 lbs Whey is $75 including free shipping, add to cart and check for yourself. Which is cheaper than all the ones you listed, thanks for the comparison though ^_^

  • I thought protein couldn't be imported into Australia?

    • Short answer: it can be imported.

      Official answer from the Dept Of Agriculture

      Can I bring protein powders to Australia?
      An import permit is not required for commercially prepared and packaged protein powders in quantities of no more than 10 kilograms or 10 litres, provided that they are manufactured in one of the countries specified on the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources FMD Approved Country List and intended for human consumption only;

      Commercially prepared and packed protein powders for personal use only are permitted to contain enzymes and/or egg proteins without requiring a permit.

      Note: For products which contain ingredients sourced and or manufactured in a country NOT listed in the FMD approved country list, please refer to the ICON case for Dairy Products (excluding cheese) from Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) - Unapproved Country List for Dairy Products.

    What a joke. In tablet version prices look cheap and another 20% would be a good bargain but when u click on some products the prices jump up nearly 20% and then in the cart it takes of 20% so it's back to normal price. I hate these idiots just tricking people and get them excited for nothing
