Booker Noe, known as the Father of the small batch Bourbon movement was Jim Beam’s Master Distiller for 40 years. He wanted to create Bourbon’s the way they were meant to be - the way they were made in the era before prohibition.
Knob Creek is aged nine years, the longest of the Small Batch Bourbons. This extra ageing allows it to absorb more of the sugar in the wood, giving it a slightly sweeter taste and nose.

    $70 for 9 year old bourbon …… not a bad price …… I just enjoy the in-store experience when shopping for this sort "indulgent" product, plus the cost of shipping. I have 5 dans and 4 ladies with a 5 kn radius of me, so shipping cost does seem to taint the taste of a bargain.
