Seems to be a good price for a top end Sony TV. I know there are bigger TV's around, but 65" seems to be a sweet spot for TV size for me. Probably a bit of negotiation can get another couple of hundred off.

Why is this a bargain?
How much is it normally?
Apparently $4,496. However, Bing Lee has it at $3,299 not on sale, so I don't think it's really much of a bargain. Plus you get 6 months of Presto Subscription when you purchase it from Bing Lee.
You get the same 6 months of Presto from JB Hi-Fi as well. ( In store Only, as per the website)
Presto offer is by Sony Australia and available when buy from any major dealer
It is reduced by 1200/- as per the ticketed price. Thought it might help a fellow oz bargainer.

A rich one?
Why cannot Ozbargainers be rich?
Not long ago, I learnt I have to understand jv's sarcasm and forgive him. :D
@AussieGargain: Good point. I have been around Ozbargain, and vaguely remember JV's posts. And Ozbargain is like a family- so, fine by me if someone asks for clarification. Will try to help as much as possible, then, simply ignore if he becomes to persistent, and I cannot help … ;-)
Is this the top end model for the uhds? Isn't X94 top-end, X90 mid-range , X85 entry level. Someone ftom Sony correct me if I'm wrong.
I think this is the order:
X94/X93 Series (Top of the range)
X91/X90 Series
X85 Series
X83Series
X80 Series (Entry level)
Yes, the X94 is the absolute top end. But X9000C is also top end TV- the other series are X85, X83 and X80 series, which are all Ultra HD.
I have personally found that X90 series also has excellent features, and in itself is a top end TV, not necessarily the latest model.
The features of the same are:
Floating Style is the essential new shape of BRAVIA blends form and function beautifully. Just 4.9mm* thin, the sheer, ultra-slim design flatters your wall like a precious work of art
Sony's Android TV*1 for an unlimited enjoyment of various content from apps to movies, between different Android devices
Greater clarity, color and contrast with "our new" powerful 4K processor X1 chip
Upscale to near 4K resolution, regardless of source with 4K X-Reality™ PRO
See more colours than before with TRILUMINOS™ Display
ClearAudio+ fine-tunes TV sound for an immersive, emotionally enriching experience that seems to surround youKeep in mind this model has an ips panel.
Is that better or worse than the VA panel on the X8500?
depends on what you are after. VA panels are deeper black. IPS panels are better viewing angles
Also, the same price at Sony Store- http://www.sony.com.au/product/kd-65x9000c, ( with free delivery) and if you have the AU$ 25 for answering a survey, it would be even cheaper.
This is a very thin TV, that some people might prefer. Cannot change from JB Hi-fi to Sony in the main post, as it does not allow me. Maybe, admin can help.
Good night for now.4% of RRP ($200) as Cash Rewards if you buy from Sony
I heard x9000c has serious light bleed issue, is it the case? Or if is common for all edge lit LCD TV?
Basically the same price as Bing Lee $3,299 https://www.binglee.com.au/sony-kd65x9000c-65-bravia-uhd-3d-…
