Sennheiser HD 600 $328.50 Shipped @Addictedtoaudio

200

Online and in-store

  • Upper Mid-Range grade Headphones

  • Highly endorsed by professional headphone reviewers

  • Fast free shipping for Australia only (My order was received within 2 days)

It is highly suggested that you use a headphone amp with this headset, without an amp there is a lot of wasted potential in quality.

Interesting… I was just reading up on these. Very tempted!

Considering where the aussie dollar is, this is a great price.

  • very cheap, i got mine at 640 dollars about 2 years ago.

  • what headphone amp would you recommend so they can be hooked up to a tv, ps4 and pc without moving it from place to place?

    • The SMSL SD793ii is a good budget option. It is a DAC plus headphone amp. Look around on eBay aliexpress etc. I got mine for $80 shipped off ebay.

      • Only 2 source inputs though?

        Nothing for a laptop also?

    • A FiiO E11K should do the job it is portable and has decent battery life but its kind of tricky finding somewhere that ships to Australia for a reasonable price (Id suggest using eBay).

  • that proprietary 10ft cable a bit of a deal breaker…

    • If its too long you can buy shorter ones online but a cable tie should work fine. If you were looking for something to use with portable media such as a phone these are not for you as these headphones are too power hungry and will not be able to run on them unless you have a portable DAC/AMP which can be tedious to carry around.

They're also open, so unless you want to be a bit of an ass and have people around your listen to your music, not recommended.

    • :P I use rubber bands on mine. Though 3m cable is not stupid when the main usage of the headphone would be in indoor situation (sound leaks out and leaks in too much), I use rubber band because the distance between myself and device I use with my PC is small.

If you don't go for something bloody expensive (no offence, but if the cable costs more than the headphone, I think that's bloody expensive), you could get a replacement one from Aliexpress or from Sennheiser. Though, I didn't take care of mine like I should and I don't see any problems with the wires (it's been 2 years).

  • hmm is one or the HE-400i? which will be better?
