says not for induction ???? this must be an error ?
Handles secured with rivets
Compatible with all cooktops except induction
Three-ply construction; superior stick
The mc2 range isn't induction compatible whereas the stainless steel ones are. I recently got a similar stainless steel set from Peter's of Kensington for around $600+ mark. They're lovely! William Sonoma also recently did 20% off on the d5 (5 ply) range too. I think it was about $800 for the equivalent set.
The cheapest way to buy All-Clad cookware is wait for 20% off deals on Peter's of Kensington eBay, such as
eBay - 20% off on Select Retailers
20% off Everything at Peters of Kensington eBay
wtf… $729!
cheaper than an iPhone ….. lasts longer ……. and doesn't break if you drop it, is dishwasher safe, lots of people have iPhones but few are discerning enough to have all-clad, more of a status symbol than iPhone …… so $729 is relative to what you value.
the WTF would be applicable to "Compatible with all cooktops except induction".
still WTF!
bought a few all clad on ebay ….. a few sellers have 48% + off …… will allow me to try them without over committing $$ wise.
bought the sauciers and a fry pan.
Don't forget to compare with fissler. They are sold at myer though not through myer online, and are doing 50% off sets. From my research they are better reviewed than the all clad
Ouch …. I have been looking for triple ply cookware also ….. cuisinart set is $250 …… Estelle sempre doesn't come in sets, and this allcald is a big set.
I own the scanpan triple ply, but the handles are narrow and not good when pouring from saucepans.
allcald is temping, have been told it's the rolls royce of consumer cookware. (matfer, debugger, demeyere, bourgeat are commercial industrial).
what I find lacking in consumer range are the sauteuese / conical saucepans so you can get into the corner with a whisk.
