Hopefully others with free gift cards will benefit, instead of the potentially useful comment being negged & ignored. Some believed Maccas gift card could not be used with sale items but it worked.

That it worked was pointed out in this deal's description. Only worked with sale items.
I just used it on a cheap sale item to check - worked.
But did not work on non-sale sunnies.Maccas gift card was said not to work on specials - worked.
I wasn't otherwise going to use my 'prize' before expiry, so gave it a try. Others were giving away their $10 gift cards believing they were of no effective value as only could buy full price product + delivery. Now people are requesting them!That's why I commented in maccas competition it was a great time to use a maccas gift card. Double bonus ;-)
I though it was worth sharing. But no one else (apart from that deal's OP) thought so.
The sunnies I bought dropped in price today - only about $1 more than I paid. I'm not expecting anything great. Still, now its only about $4 for sunnies delivered with maccas gift card ;-) Add in other shopping & your delivery is already covered by that purchase.
