Came to say the same thing. Here's the link

When it's only Xbox games that are UP to 50% off, having it in the title is quite deceiving and click baiting.

  • Noticed the price of the Xbox one controllers have gone up a fair bit. Don't know if the new prices are permanent, or if they've just been artificially put up, just for the "sale".

    • These are the rrp for the limited edition controllers. Jb sells them for the same rrp.

    • "Noticed the price of the Xbox one controllers have gone up a fair bit"

      Details?

      • if you keep an eye out on the microsoft store regularly you'll see that the prices aren't that great.

  • You might want to add that the Holiday Bundle Xbox One also includes Forza and Halo 5…

    and free express shipping

Good price for a great headset. I paid $10 more a couple months ago. Can't seem to see it any cheaper anywhere else. Might be able to price match JB/HN etc.

  • Any input on the dell 15 laptop pleeeeease! And merry Christmas!

there is another post for the dell

      Keyboard, touchpad, touchscreen.

  • The windows gift cards can't be used at the microsoftstore?

    • Came to ask this too! Doesn't look like it in t&c's, but couldn't find anything explicit

    • Nope. You can only use them on the Windows App store.

I discovered this after purchase them at the last sale. But M$ was good enough to refund me. Have to say the M$ store experience is comparable to the Apple Store experience….

EDIT: otherwise, since the code is digital, you could purchase Gift cards at a discount then use it to purchase discounted gift cards….and e.g. games on the Store on the Xbox One console itself doesn't have the discount on the M$ store…shame.

  • Yes it can from the gift card section for windows store
*Works with Windows 10 PCs, tablets and phones, Windows 8.1, Windows Phone 8, Xbox One and Xbox 360 (Xbox Live required). Not redeemable on earlier versions. Music: Only for purchase of tracks, albums and music pass on Windows 10 and Windows 8.1 PCs and tablets, or music pass on Xbox One (Xbox Live required)

    • I interpreted that more as for the stores on all those devices… Be great if I'm wrong though!

    • Can someone confirm? I'll buy it to use it on a surface pro

      Edit
Limitations on using the money in your Microsoft account
Gift cards can be used to buy digital content from select Microsoft online stores like Windows Store, Windows Mobile Store, and Xbox store

    • But you can't actually redeem the codes on the microsoftstore itself, as there is no option to redeem vouchers, only promotional codes. I've tried it, it doesn't work. The games on the xbox store aren't discounted liek they are on the microsoftsore

      • Bummer!

I'm was eyeing the Surface Book and 25% off would have been really nice.

        That's expensive hardware!

  • Nothing hardware was even remotely close to 50% off

Negging. It's one thing for advertisers to miss lead but please don't do it here

i already explained it its your title.

up to 50% on Xbox, Surface, PCs, Phones, and more

why not actually have it reflect what savings there are.

the $400 off a $2500 isnt 50% that was the point, UPTO 50% is actually is actually used by companies to lie to people to have crappy discounts on most stuff you want and 50$ of a 19.95 game selling for $9.95

its disappointing you didn't actually take the effort to post a proper reflective title, because the savings are pretty crappy.

Most of the things listed first are the "good" suff, then at the bottom you mentioned "Xbox One Games Limited time only: Save up to 50% on Xbox One games" YET its that which gets plated in the title, which is false.

thats why, if you cant understand that sorry.

Why neg me when I'm simply letting others know it's on.

Might not be a deal for you, but could be for others.

The dupe post for the Dell in the computing section is getting the UP votes.

      • Got it, but that's the Headline from the email.

You wouldn't know that. But again, it clearly says UPTO.

Thanks for the post GLO. I missed out on Arkham Knight for $50 during the 12 Days of Christmas sale, thanks to your post I got a 2nd chance to purchase it for $50.

  • I'm glad it's helped you.

  • The Microsoft store in the USA has a deal with a $100 dollar discount on the surface 3. Unfortunately those deals did not make it to Australia.
