  • Sony 75"(190cm) FHD LED LCD 100Hz Smart TV

  • Was too quick to + I thought this was 4k

    • +1

      Revoke then. Simples.

  • +3

almost 3k for a non uhd screen meh these things will not be worth much soon

  • +4

Pretty rare to see 75" TV's under $3K.. last one I recall (may have missed some) was the JB HiFi Samsung 75" for $29xx about a year ago.

    What size 4K TV can you get for this price… 60" ? 65" ?
Id rather this for the bigger picture, than 10-15" smaller 4K for same $$. Although I appreciate some people would prefer the extra pixels. My home internet has no hope of streaming 4K :(

  • +35

    Don't buy!

JB is doing the exact same TV on the 26th for $2596.

    Source: Trust me.

    • +1

Somehow you earned my trust. I am going to wait. I nearly pulled the trigger but saw the above comment that it;s FHD not UHD. Want UHD but for 2600 its a good price.

      • +9

why not buy it and claim the gift card, then go back and ge tthe 120% price guarantee

    • You are a good man……. I was going to pull the trigger also at the $2896 price.

Don't suppose you have any INTEL on 65" buys from JBHIFI in a few days time?

      • +13

        Sony 65" x9000c $3296
        Sony 65" w850c $1898
        LG 65" UF680T $2198

        ;)

        Santa told me!

        • Why thank you greatly, I know where I shall be shopping now……..

        • no 75's ? :(

        • Any chance Santa spoke to you regarding 60" TV's?

Will Samsung be on sale by any chance?

Or any deals that would be too good to pass up on? Nothing lower then 55".

Thanks heaps, planning my budget now :-)

        • Thanks for that Sw0rdy! Are JB doing any specials on 70" 4K TV's?

        • +1

          Or the 75" X8500C?

        • +2

          @shaggies:

          Samsung 60" JS7200 $1996
          Samsung 55" JU7500 $1998
          Samsung 55" JU6400 $1398
          LG 55" UF680T $1396

Santa tells me that's all the exciting offers from JB this year in TVs.

        • @sw0rdy:

Your a gentleman and scolar, thanks for highlighting the good deals.

Now should I be greedy and get x2 75" or invest in a few smaller ones……….

Thanks once again and have a great Christmas

        • Ahk, I've in talking to Rudy, he had nothing? +1 for insider trading

        • Has Santa told you anything about the price for LG 65UF850T by any chance..

          OR Sammy's UA65JU7000W
          Both are UHD's and 3D's as well…
          Thanks

        • @sw0rdy:

          Thanks for the intel!

Too bad the TV i want isn't in there, hopefully one of the other shops will have it!

        • 65" w850c was 1880 at GG 3 or 4 weeks back. That was a great deal. Coming back to that price is good

        • @koolchamp81:
Let's just say I wish Santa mentioned the Samsung ju7000 65 as I want one :(

      • To Secret Santa,

Any word on JB prices for the Panansonic 65CX700A and the LG 55EC930T?

        Thanks!

        • Now that JB's prices have been updated for Boxing Day:
Panasonic 65CX700A:$2696 (it's not shown as being on sale on the website but was $2999 in store today)
LG 55EC930T:$2796 (this was marked down to $2496 in store today).

    • sw0rdy do you know how long sale will last as I have to work boxing day?

      • 6 days (starting 26th) or until stock runs out.

    • Deal is already ON on JB HiFi website

    • I trust you….

      Its already on their website….

      https://www.jbhifi.com.au/tv-home-entertainment/hd-televisio…

    • Wow thanks heaps. JBhifi is selling it for 2596!

Samsung and LG rate better this year.

  • I need eyes like a hawk for these TV deals, picked up the 55" Sony UHD from Ozbargain deal in November, 3 year old smashed the screen this week :(
Bring on the boxing day deals (whilst I await insurance money!)

  • your kid seems to be checking ozbargain too..He knew boxing day deals are near..

  • +1

    I am in Osaka now.
In the Big Camera,80 inch of 8k TV made in Japan is 362800 yen

    • +1

      4147.519 Australian Dollar not bad

  • +3

Must resist the temptation. Pana plasma still going strong and will hopefully see me through to the era of cheap 70" OLEDs…

    • +1

May the force be with you.

    • +2

Same… pana plasma in the bedroom, samsung plasma in the living room. Half the UHDs i have seen look very freakin average i am not sure why people jump on them especially given next to no content.

      • Yeah. Content is a major reason for me to hold back too. Maybe if the NBN ever gets built and reaches the advertised speeds, it'll be worth it. But I'm sure as heck not streaming 4k on crappy ADSL…

        • If you haven't been following, the NBN has been cancelled by the government. In its place is a fraudband network and a monumental waste of money

  • Doesn't 75" seem a bit too big for FHD?

    • +1

Only if you sit 3 feet from the TV

    • yep that's what sw0rdy said up above

  • Seems like the sale that was on about 3-4 weeks ago might be better than boxing day

    • Which one

      • +1

the ebay 20% off one was pretty good
the Sony KD65X8500C 65" was around ~$2300 albeit for a little while. It was also $2250 at BingLee
        LG 65UF850T 65" was around $2400

        • so the boxing day sale prices are not that great as we were expecting..the sale prices are still expensive than the above mentioned deals…
http://www.thegoodguys.com.au/lg-65-inches164cm-uhd-led-lcd-… is not even 3d and just 100hz as compared to the previous deal for https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/222499 @2400

        • @koolchamp81:

which is a shame because i'm on the lookout for a 65" UHD!

        • Yep … agree … a bit better prices before boxing day. Will wait. My 6 year old 50inch Samsung plasma is still great. Would spend 2,000 (and not 1$ more) on a good 65inch 4K TV … but looks like I have to wait a bit longer. Maybe next year …
