      this makes sense. it's like saying adobe won't allow free upgrades to CS6 on your free copy of CS5, which is entirely reasonable…

        Thanks Capn Obvious, I was referring to (for example) update to v7.01 etc
        However given they're up to v9, I doubt there's an more updates to v7

          yeah righto mate, because 'upgrades to future versions' totally means minor edition updates/bugchanges…
