Hi rep, any chance there might be a deal for Huawei P8 (non lite version)? Was looking at DickSmith $349 deal, but doubt my local DS will ever have any stocks.

  • hi rep, i am with richrichie, can you deal on normal HuaweiP8 please. Not fussed with the colour either, as long as its BINB.

  • Thanks rep, bought a pair of headphones

  • For anyone expecting bass, the HD201's will dissapoint. It's also rather quiet, highly recommend using a headphone amp if you have one.
The Topping NX1 portable amplifier is a good choice if you are on a shoestring budget but you'll be kidding yourself if you didn't just spend your money on a better pair of headphones in the first place — the bass is very weak even with amp and equalizer tweaking.

I upgraded from the HD201 to the HD419, which was a little better but not terribly great either. I've come to the conclusion that low-end Sennheisers aren't worth getting particurly if they're still priced at RRP.

    The Good
The Sennheiser HD 201 headphones are very comfortable to wear, and the tough construction will last over long-term use. Noise leakage is at a minimum, and the overall sound is balanced as well.

    The Bad
The HD 201 headphones' cable may be too long for portable use, and the set doesn't come with a protective pouch for storage. Natural bass is lacking, and the maximum volume output is lower than most aftermarket headphones in its category.

    The Bottom Line
Though the ultra-affordable Sennheiser HD 201 headphones provide natural sound and capable performance, commuters may find the low volume output an issue when listening to music in highly trafficked environments.
