Free for one day only. I know that this is not everyone's cup of coffee. Has saved me a few times when i couldn't find the correct driver or even properly identify the component in a notebook.

It is absolutely free but registration is required, no CC details needed.

Go to http://www.heise.de/download/special-gratis-vollversion-driv… and click on the green "Angebot sichern" button.
It will take you to avanquest. Make sure yo remove the tick for download protection so it comes down to 0.00

You don't needs to provide a working email address or name as the key is displayed on the screen and not sent as mail.

Download the english version here http://www.avanquest.com/USA/trialDownload.html?id=20326 and enter the key you got previously

    Had no probs getting the key. But it's a bit awkward in german.

      Worked for me just now. Code has 59 characters including 9 dashes. Maybe trying with a new code?
